Cross laminated timber (CLT) is a structural two-way spanning, prefabricated panel that is environmentally sustainable and can be used to form structural walls, roofs and floors.

CLT is formed by the layering of timber planks, (3, 5 or 7 layers) known as lamellas, at 90° to the layer below which subsequently allows for the construction of panels of up to 22m in length and 3.5m in width. CLT has enhanced strength and stability characteristics, enabling the creation of large scale structures.

Taylor Maxwell Timber have extensive project experience working with architects and contractors on the design and delivery of bespoke laminated wood panels.
